The Girls Wrestling team began the season on Wednesday night in the NIC Mini Meet at Penn HS. Four wrestlers represented the Eagles in the match. There were no team scores kept. Melanie Franko went undefeated at 2-0 for the night at 155 pounds. Franko defeated Elkhart with a Tech Fall and a pin of her New Prairie opponent. Kristen Hoffman went 1-1 at 170 pounds with a win over Riley by Fall. Kristal Ruiz wrestled at 120 pounds and Ximenea Herrera Santiago at 190 pounds.
