The Boys Basketball team had a great opportunity on Saturday as the Eagles had a big road non conference game at Merrillville. Adams had a great finish down the stretch and defeated the Pirates 77-73 Adams trailed for much of the game and was down heading into the fourth quarter, behind a great effort from Josh Johnson, Drew Dixon, and Jarvis Tolbert in the second half, the Eagles game back to get past Merrillville in the final quarter to earn the victory. Tolbert was the leading scorer for Adams in the game. Tolbert finished the afternoon with 20 points. Dixon added another 16, Johnson 14 points, and Terron Johnson 11 points.
