The Girls Swim and Dive team had an outstanding day in the pool on Saturday as the Lady Eagles competed in the South Bend City Meet at SB Riley HS. Adams had a dominant performance as they finished in 1st place with a team score of 588. Adams took first place in seven events and the depth of the team allowed the Eagles to finish as the runner up in another four events. Jenna Freymuth opened the morning with a stellar win in Diving to take the top podium spot. Addy Szakaly, Willa Kricheff, Liz Anderson, and Shannon Dowd took first place in two relays. The team won both the 200 Medley Relay at the beginning of the meet and closed out the day with a win in the 400 Freestyle Relay. Kricheff and Szakaly also earned two individual wins as well. Kricheff won the 200 Freestyle and 100 Breaststoke and Szakaly won the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Freestyle. It was a total team effort for the Lady Eagles as the team took a total of an impressive 33 podium finishes.
