The Girls Swim and Dive team competed in the IHSAA Sectional Finals on Saturday at Sb Riley HS. The Lady Eagles had a great meet and finished in 2nd place overall with a final score of 345. Adams was crowned Sectional Champs in three events. Willa Kricheff won both the 500 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke. Kricheff won the 500 Freestyle in 5:14.77 and the Breaststroke in 1:07.68. Jenna Freymuth was the Sectional Champ in Diving as well. Freymuth took first with a score of 393.60 Kricheff will advance to the IHSAA State Finals next weekend. Freymuth advances to the Diving Regional on Tuesday. Adams also qualified for the State Finals in four other events as well. Addy Szakaly took the runner up spots in the 50 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke and will advance. Szakaly also broke her own School record in the Backstroke with a time of 56.02 The 200 Medley Relay and 400 Freestyle Relays of Kricheff, Szakaly, Shannon Dowd, and Liz Anderson advance as well.
