Baseball Falls to Mishawaka Marian in Extra Innings

The Baseball team had their home opener on Saturday afternoon as the Eagles hosted Mishawaka Marian in the second game of their series. It was a close game that took extra innings to decide, but Adams lost to the Knights with a final score of 2-1 Kanien Smith had a lead off single in the game which eventually resulted in him stealing home to score the first run of the game. The Knights evened it up with a run in the second and the game remained tied. WIth strong pitching on both sides, it took the game to extra innings before Marian scored a run on the 9th to win the game.
