The Softball team hosted Elkhart on Tuesday night in the final week of Northern Indiana Conference play. It was a close game all night but the Eagles unfortunately lost to the Lions with a final score of 4-3. Abby Kadar had an outstanding performance in the pitchers circle. Kadar struck out 6 Lions batters and also went 1-3 at the plate with 1 run batted in. Kadar doubled in the first inning to give Adams the early lead. Down 3-1 going into the sixth inning, Alivia Redman grounded out to allow Mackenzie Miller to score to cut into the deficit. Gabby Vandeweille singled later in the inning to bring in the tying run.
