The Baseball team was on the road on Wednesday night to play in their final Northern Indiana Conference game of the season. The Eagles traveled to play at Elkhart and played an extremely close game but lost to the Lions with a final score of 5-4 Jeffrey Seitz led the Eagles with 3 hits. Adams cut the Lions lead in the second inning after a Max Palmer ground ball bringing in Kainen Smith for the run. In the fourth inning the lead was narrowed again when Palmer hit into a fielder’s choice, allowing Smith to score. Garrett Miller singled later in the inning to drive in another run. In the seventh, Seitz singled to tie the game up and put the pressure on the Lions. Unfortunately, Elkhart scored a walk off run in the bottom of the frame. —----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- John Adams vs Elkhart @ Elkhart JA 010 200 1 4 10 1 E 202 000 1 7 7 8 AB R H RBI Garrett Miller 4 0 2 1 Cayden Keen 4 0 1 0 Ben Piechocki 4 0 0 0 Weston Hoke 4 0 1 0 Kainen Smith 4 3 2 0 Noah Mulvehill 4 1 1 0 Josnel Zerpa 0 0 0 0 Jeffrey Seitz 4 0 3 1 Max Palmer 3 0 0 1 Joe Fox 1 0 0 0 Tyler Palmer 3 0 0 0 Team Total 35 4 10 3 TB Seitz 3, Miller 2, Smith 2, Keen, Mulvehill, Hoke E Piechocki Pitching IP H R ER SO Jimmy Seitz 6 7 5 4 7 Kane Godard 0 0 0 0 0 Total 6 7 5 4 7 L Seitz HBP Goddard
