Girls Soccer Defeats SB Riley to Begin Season

The Girls Soccer team began the season on Tuesday night in a road game against Sb Riley at Jackson Field. The Lady Eagles were victorious in their season and Northern Indiana Conference opener, defeating the Wildcats with a final score of 8-0. Adams was dominant in the game and got off to a great start for the season. Julia Kinney had three goals in the game to help lead the Eagles to victory. Scoring the first two goals of the game, Kinney would also score the final goal in the closing minutes of action as well. Navy Smith, Paityn Armstrong, Arianna Jones, Amya Henry, and Briley Kush all scored goals to Adams as well and Hannah Monie, Henry, and Iggy Masson were all credited with assists. Adams finished the day with 33 shots and goal while the Eagles allowed no shots to get past the strong defense. Adams begins the season 1-0 overall and in the NIC.
