The Boys Soccer team played their first home match of the season on Wednesday night as they hosted crosstown rival SB Riley at Everwise School Field. In an extremely physical and exciting game, the Eagles defeated the Wildcats with a final score of 6-1. While Riley scored first, Adams was able to close the gap with the equalizer just before the horn at halftime. Gio Diaz scored a goal with the assist off of Eddie Scheffler. After several great halftime adjustments, it was all Adams in the second half. The Eagles took the lead quickly and never looked back behind goals from Diego Cruz, Frank Flores, Carlos Cubillo and two goals from Asim Elhag. Adams now moves to a record of 2-0 overall for the season and 1-0 in the Northern Indiana Conference.
