The Boys Cross Country team had a great morning to run their first race of the season. The Eagles competed in the NIC Stomp hosted at Elkhart HS. Overall the Eagles finished in 3rd place overall with a final team score of 107 points. Max Howk had an exceptional morning as he was crowned the individual champion in the race. Running a great race and outkicking the leader in the final stretch, Howk won with a time of 18:54.6 on the clock. Two other runners finished in the top 30 of the race as well. Adam Larsen finished in 10th place in 19:25.0 and Eli Shane finished in 25th place in 20.24.0. Not far behind were a Preston Rupert and Gabe Fulcher.
