Boys Tennis Plays Tough Against Elkhart

The Boys Tennis team was back on the court on Tuesday afternoon as the Eagles hosted Elkhart in a Northern Indiana Conference match. Adams played tough but ultimately lost to the Lions in a close match 3-2. Brayden White had a great win over the Lions at #2 Singles. After falling 1-6 in the opening set, White battled his way back to take the next two sets 6-4, 6-3 and secure the victory. The #2 Doubles duo of Albert Wagoner and Michael Curtis were victorious as well. Wagoner and Curtis worked their way back from a deficit two win 6-4, 6-2. While falling to the Lions, Elliot Jackson ah a great match at #3 Singles as did the #1 Doubles pair of Owen McNally and Ben Piechocki. The JV lost as well 5-3. Winners for the Eagles included Tristan Hinegardner, Eli Linstromberg, and Teddy Swanson Adams is now 2-1 overall and in the NIC for the year.
