Thursday was a great evening for a race as the Boys Cross Country team competed in the South Bend City Meet at Erskine Park Golf Course. The Eagles ran well and finished with a 2nd place finish in the race with a final score of 43 points. Three Eagles finished in the top 10 to lead the team to the runner up spot. With a great race strategy, Max Howk finished in 2nd place overall, crossing the finish line in 17:11.9. Adam Larsen finished in 5th place in 17:33.9 and Eli Shane finished in 9th place in 18:15.0 Four more runners finished in the top 20 with Gabe Fulcher finishing 13th, Preston Rupert in 14th and Matteo Garcia in 20th. In the Junior Varsity race, Jimmy Seitz finished 3rd overall and Max Critchlow finished in 4th place.
