Girls Cross Country Finishes 11th at New Prairie Invitational

The Girls Cross Country team ran amongst some of the best teams in the region on Saturday as they ran in the New Prairie Invitational. After a delay due to lightning, the Lady Eagles were finally able to get on the course in the afternoon. The Lady Eagles ran a great race and finished in 11th place overall in the AAA Race (Large School) with a final score of 333. Agnes Hasler earned a Top 40 finish, crossing the finish line in 28th place overall in 20:20.3 Two packs of Eagles runners helped the team to the great finish. One of Scarlet Connolly, Gretchen Rae, and Clara Turner and the other of Liz Anderson and Lelianna DeSelm. In the Reserve Race, Adams had a great run as well, finishing in 13th place with a team score of 346.
