The Girls Cross Country team was in action on Saturday as they competed in the IHSAA Regional Championship Meet at New Prairie HS. It was a great day for a race, and the Eagles competed well in the competitive field. Adams finished in 17th place with a final score of 415. Agnes Hasler had a great race, setting a new personal best and earning a trip to the IHSAA State Finals. Hasler ran a strategic race through the field and finished in 23rd place overall, crossing the finish line in 19:31.1. The Lady Eagles had two strong packs of runners in the race. The first of Scarlet Connolly, Gretchen Rae, and Zahra Stacowicz, and the second of Leliana DeSelm, Clara Turner, and Liz Anderson. Hasler will compete next week in the IHSAA State Finals.
