Saturday was perfect for the Boys Cross Country IHSAA State Finals in Terre Haute as Max Howk represented the Eagles in the Championship race. Howk qualified for the State Finals after an outstanding effort at last week’s Regional Meet. Howk raced his way through the ultra competitive field on the world class LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course. Traversing the challenging and rolling terrain, Howk raced his way to a 208th overall finish in the race. Howk crossed the finish line in 17:11.0 Howk’s race in the State Finals caps off a great season for the Eagles.
